Fix one thing. Keep the rest.

In GK Health you correct a meal the way you would correct a friend: "the coffee was a large one", "that is rice, not couscous", "I think the calories are a bit higher". It remembers what it has just estimated, so only the thing you named changes and the rest of the meal stays exactly as it was.

Why most food apps make this hard

A photo app gets a plate nearly right, four things out of five. You correct the one that is wrong, and it starts again from scratch, or fixes it and breaks something that was fine, because it has no memory of what it just told you. So you delete the meal and type it in again, or leave the wrong figure in.

GK Health keeps the conversation. Your correction is applied to the estimate it has just made.

Corrections it understands

What you sayWhat changes
"That is rice, not couscous"That one item is swapped
"Make the coffee a large one"That item's size
"Two slices, not one"That item's amount
"I think the calories are a bit higher"The estimate is revised upwards
"That was dinner"Which meal it was filed under

You do not need special words or commands. It reads what you mean, the way the chat on your phone does.

It never claims a change it has not made

When GK Health says something has changed, it has. Its replies are checked against what was actually written to your diary, so it never tells you a meal was updated when it was not.

Corrections teach it

Correcting starts with a good first guess. How the photo estimate works.

Questions

Do I have to re-enter the whole meal to fix one item?

No. Say what is wrong in plain words, such as "the coffee was a large one" or "that is rice, not couscous". GK Health changes that item and keeps the rest of the meal exactly as it was.

Can I correct it by voice?

Yes. Speak or type the correction. Speech is recognised on your iPhone or iPad.

Will a correction change my saved foods?

Not unless you ask it to. Foods saved in your catalogue keep their figures until you say they should change.

What if I tell it my whole day again?

It matches each meal to what is already in your diary and changes only what is different, instead of adding the day twice.

GK Health is in development and not on the App Store yet.

It is a native app for iPhone and iPad (iOS 17 or later). Join the waitlist and we will email you when it is ready to download.
